Respiratory Story

Welcome to this magical story of how the air passes through the respiratory system. We will explain the four main areas of the respiratory system the air travels through, and what happens in each of the places. First, the air enters the first main area which has the nose, mouth, and trachea. The air enters your nose or mouth and goes down your throat. It then goes into the second main part of the trip. It has the bronchial tubes and the lungs. The air travels through some bronchial tubes and then enters the lungs. It then enters the third main part of the respiratory system, the bronchioles and the alveoli. Once the air enters the alveoli the air enters your blood and then enters the fourth and final main area, which has the heart. The heart then pumps the air to the rest of the body.
